На создание каждой из замысловатых композиций у Бейтмана уходит несколько дней, и при этом он не забывает о непостоянстве. Вдохновлённый духовными традициями тибетских монахов, которые создают сложные мандалы из песка, чтобы затем стереть их, он также позволяет своим творениям вернуться в природу после завершения работы.
